Who can register?

Any Minnesota resident 17 years of age or older can register.

When is registration?

Student registration is at the beginning of each term. The following are the dates of registration and the terms for 2009.

WINTER TERM
January 5 – April 30, 2009
Registration Dates:
January 5 – 9, 2009

SPRING/SUMMER TERM
May 4 – August 28, 2009
Registration Dates:
May 4 - 8, 2009

FALL TERM
September 8 – Dec. 18, 2009
Registration Dates:
August 31 – September 4, 2009

Come to the International Education Center the week of registration.
730 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis MN (corner of 8th street and Hennepin).

You will need to reserve about two hours for registration to take placement exams.

Can I register and start during a term?

Yes, registration is open throughout the term if room is available in classes. You can call for an appointment or come to the office during class hours Monday – Thursday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM or Friday 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Full-time Students – 30 hours per week

Part-time Students – minimum of 12 hours per week

What is the Tuition Cost?

The majority of IEC’s courses are offered tuition FREE. Fee-based courses are identified in the course description and course catalog. A $10 materials fee is payable each term by every student.
