Accent
Modification
LAEC is able to
provide accent modification work for non-native English speaking
employees who are involved in professional or customer services.
For example, we have provided accent reduction tutoring for medical
residents at a local clinic, and for engineers with a local firm.
We will assess the needs of the employee, and then work together
presenting and practicing strategies for change. Such tutoring
typically happens either one-on-one, or with 2 or 3 individuals from
the same first language background. If you are interested in
accent modification or reduction with your employees, please contact

Regularly
Scheduled Classes at LAEC
Employees of
your business are also welcome to attend our general English as a
second language (ESL) classes at our school in downtown
Minneapolis. Click here for more information. The content in these classes is
related to general lifeskills and civics education.
